Melissa Monstrola has worked in the engineering field since 2015. Her most recent role is Reliability Engineer at Fulcrum BioEnergy, Inc., a position they have held since 2021. Prior to that, they were a Biogas Operations Engineer at Air Liquide from 2016-2021. During their time there, they provided daily operations support focusing on safety and reliability, troubleshooting, membrane performance data and tuning, and customer interface for all North American Biogas facilities. Melissa was also responsible for engineering, design, and implementation of Capital Projects at each facility to improve safety, reliability, and/or profitability. From 2015-2016, they were a Field Engineer at Schlumberger, where they gained unique exposure to upstream oil and gas processes including cementing, hydraulic fracturing, and wireline. During their time there, they engineered job plans, material testing, and on-site team supervision, and designed and created a secondary pressure trip system to rectify a key safety hazard for cement pump truck.
Melissa Monstrola graduated from Penn State University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Chemical Engineering.
