Christina Adams

Christina Adams, PhD, has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the medical and research fields. Christina is currently serving as the Associate Director of Medical Writing at Fulcrum Therapeutics since May 2022. Prior to this position, they worked at Biosplice Therapeutics from August 2019 to April 2022, where they held the roles of Senior Medical Writer and Medical Writer. Christina also worked as a Medical Writer at Medpace from June 2018 to August 2019.

Christina's earlier experience includes working as a Doctoral Candidate at Roswell Park Cancer Institute from August 2012 to May 2018, where they conducted research on the estrogen receptor β and p53 signaling crosstalk in relation to triple negative breast cancer. Before that, they served as a Research Technologist I at Penn State College of Medicine from June 2009 to August 2012, conducting independent research experiments and following standard operating procedures.

Christina's career in research began as an Undergraduate Research Intern at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia, where they conducted an independent research project on the role of CXCR4 in cancer cell migration from January 2009 to April 2009. Prior to that, they participated in the Summer Undergraduate Research Intern Program at Penn State College of Medicine in June 2008, developing data analysis and cognitive thinking skills.

Christina Adams, PhD, received their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Pharmacology and Toxicology from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia from 2005 to 2009. Christina then pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Molecular Pharmacology & Cancer Therapeutics from the University at Buffalo from 2012 to 2018. In addition, they obtained a certification in Regulatory Affairs: Pharmaceuticals from the Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society (RAPS) in October 2017.
