Alex Beattie has a diverse work experience in the field of electrical engineering. They are currently working as a Senior Electrical Engineer at Fulfil since March 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Johnson & Johnson as an Electrical Engineer from April 2019 to March 2022 and at Auris Health, Inc as an Electrical Engineer from October 2018 to March 2022.
Alex also had entrepreneurial experience as the Owner of Interax LLC, where they designed, prototyped, and marketed the TiltyIMU, an Arduino-compatible motion control system. They created development, manufacturing, and marketing plans and promoted the product on Kickstarter.
In addition, Alex worked at Innovation First International as an Electrical/Software Engineer from January 2016 to October 2018, where they improved existing products' embedded software and developed hardware and software for new products. They also managed PCB and software production line bring up in China with OEM suppliers. Before that, they worked as an Electrical/Software Engineer at the same company from January 2014 to January 2016, where they prototyped hardware and software for toy product lines and developed and tested new control schemes for low-cost and low-power IR controllers.
Alex gained experience as an Electrical/Mechanical Intern at RE2 from March 2012 to August 2012. They also worked as a Machine Shop/Lab Assistant at Rochester Institute of Technology from November 2009 to June 2011, operating and maintaining machine shop equipment, instructing new users, and fabricating parts for lab classes.
Alex Beattie attended Rochester Institute of Technology from 2009 to 2015. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Software Engineering, specializing in the field of Electrical/Software Engineering.
