Ayaire Cantil-Voorhees

Ayaire Cantil-Voorhees has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Ayaire began their career in 2004 as a Community Advisor and Teaching Assistant at the University of Alaska Southeast. They then worked as a Research Assistant and TRIO Mentor, assisting students with disabilities and researching scholarship opportunities.

In 2007, Ayaire became an Administrative Supervisor at the State of Alaska, Division of Corporations, Business, and Professional Licensing. They managed a team and completed the Department of Administration's Academy for Supervisors program.

From 2008 to 2012, Ayaire worked at the State of Alaska, Office of Children's Services as a Data Analyst. They developed and updated reports, automated tasks, and produced federally mandated reports.

In 2014, Ayaire joined YouTube as a Legal Operations Data Analyst. They replaced a legacy data warehouse, developed scripts and data pipelines, and created customized dashboards.

Ayaire's next role was at Sungevity in 2016 as an Operations Data Analyst. They worked cross-functionally to align data warehouses and identified ROI on projects, ultimately saving costs. However, the company went out of business shortly after.

In 2017, Ayaire became a Senior Data Analyst at Redbubble, focusing on the Marketplace Integrity Team. They empowered five different teams with comprehensive dashboards, contributing to the company's dedication to creativity and its people.

From 2020 to 2021, Ayaire worked as a Data Director at NextGen America. They developed reporting systems, organized precinct adoption frameworks, and created accurate Facebook account identification tools.

Currently, Ayaire is the Data Director at iTutor.com Inc., starting in December 2021.

Throughout their career, Ayaire has consistently demonstrated their expertise in data analysis, report development, project management, and team leadership.

Ayaire Cantil-Voorhees's education history includes a range of academic pursuits and certifications. In 2016, Ayaire attended General Assembly for a brief period to study Data Science. Prior to that, Ayaire engaged in a program on Advanced Analytics for Child Welfare Administration at Chapin Hall at the University of Chicago, with a completion date in 2010. From 2003 to 2007, Ayaire pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Sociology, Economics, and Government at the University of Alaska Southeast. Additionally, Ayaire obtained a Bachelor's degree in Sociology, Economics, and Government from the University of Alaska.

Alongside these academic qualifications, Ayaire holds various certifications. In 2022, Ayaire received a Certificate of Completion from Asana. In 2008, Ayaire acquired the Academy for Supervisors certification from the State of Alaska Department of Administration. Several certifications were obtained in 2016, including Agile Project Management, Getting Things Done, Making Decisions, Managing Your Time, Process Improvement Fundamentals, and Web Analytics Fundamentals, all from Lynda.com.
