Brea Groce, M.Ed.

Brea Groce, M.Ed. has a strong background in mathematics education. Brea has worked as a 5th Grade Math Interventionist and a 7th Grade Math STAAR Test Prep/Question Writer at Math-A-Matics Tutoring since 2023. Brea also serves as an Online Middle School Math Instructor at iTutor.com Inc. since 2023. Brea has experience as a Secondary Math Instructional Coach at Breakthrough Houston in 2022. Prior to that, they were a 3rd Grade Math/Science Teacher at Yellowstone Academy from 2022 to 2023. Brea worked at Humble ISD as a 7th/8th Grade Mathematics Teacher from 2020 to 2023, and also served as a Curriculum Writer in 2021. Brea started their teaching career as a Developmental Math/College Algebra Teacher's Assistant at Sam Houston State University from 2018 to 2020. Brea was also a 6th Grade Math Teaching Fellow at Breakthrough Houston in 2019.

Brea Groce, M.Ed., pursued their education at Sam Houston State University. Brea obtained a Bachelor's degree in Math Education in 2020, followed by a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction in 2021-2022. Brea also holds additional certifications, including a Teaching License-Standard obtained from the Texas Education Agency in July 2020, and a Texas Teaching Certification in 4-8th Mathematics obtained in June 2020, also from the Texas Education Agency.
