Alexandre Vieira Ribeiro da Silva

Alexandre Vieira Ribeiro da Silva has a diverse work experience spanning from 2004 to the present. Alexandre Vieira started their career as an Assistant Physician in the Intensive Care Units of Hospital Santa Cruz and Hospital São Luiz. In 2010, they worked as a Physician in the Healthcare Information Center at Hospital das Clínicas da Faculdade de Medicina da USP.

In 2012, Alexandre joined ST Consulte Saude as a Partner and Medical Manager, where they provided consultancy services for clinical information management in hospitals. Alexandre Vieira automated the generation of hospital clinical indicators and evaluated the cost-efficiency of medical teams involved in care processes.

From 2012 to 2019, Alexandre worked at Funcional Health Tech as a Healthcare Data Science Manager. In this role, they created a data intelligence system in health, implementing the concept of data-driven care. Alexandre Vieira also achieved efficiency gains in process automation and mapped customer consumption behavior to optimize services and reduce costs. Later, they became the Director of Health Analytics, leading a team of 35 people and achieving an average growth of 35% per year for the market of operators and health brokers. Alexandre Vieira also certified the business unit in privacy management and protection of personal data.

In 2015, Alexandre co-founded EMTN View, a startup focused on nutritional therapy solutions for clinical and financial management. Alexandre Vieira worked with clients such as Barretos Cancer Hospital, São Luiz Hospital, and Nestlé, and achieved a reduction in administrative activity time and revenue increase for customers. Alexandre Vieira also structured and organized the database for insights generation and continuous improvement of services and negotiations with hospitals and the pharmaceutical industry.

Alexandre's most recent role is Chief Medical Officer at Funcional Health Tech, starting in August 2021.

Additionally, Alexandre has served as a Board Member and Technical Committee Member at Aliança para a Saúde Populacional (Asap) since 2019.

Alexandre Vieira Ribeiro da Silva completed their Doctor of Medicine degree at Faculdade de Ciências Médicas da Santa Casa de São Paulo from 1995 to 2000, with a specialization in Health/Medical Physics. Alexandre Vieira later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Hospital Administration and Health Systems at FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas from 2009 to 2010. More recently, they obtained an Executive MBA in Economics and Management, focusing on Business Analytics and Big Data, also from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas, which they completed from 2017 to 2018.
