Austin King

Austin King has a diverse work experience in engineering and facilities management. Austin started their career in 2014 in the US Navy, where they served as the Leading Petty Officer of the Electrical division on board the USS Mississippi. During their time in the Navy, they gained extensive knowledge and skills in operating and maintaining electrical equipment in an operational nuclear power plant. Austin also held various roles including Engineering Watch Supervisor, Shutdown Reactor Operator, Electrical Operator, and Quality Assurance Inspector.

In 2020, Austin joined Vertiv as a Field Services Engineer, where they worked until June 2020. Austin then moved on to Function of Beauty, where they currently hold the position of Engineering & Facilities Manager.

Austin King completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Nuclear Engineering Technology from Excelsior University from 2023 to 2024. Prior to that, from 2014 to 2015, they attended Nuclear Power School at the Naval Nuclear Power Training Command (NNPTC), however, no degree or field of study was specified for this period.
