Aliya U. Zaidi, PhD

Aliya U. Zaidi, PhD has held various positions in academia and industry since 1997. Aliya U. began their career as a Visiting Scholar at Yale University School of Medicine, followed by a Research Fellow at Washington University in St. Louis from 1998-2001. Aliya U. then served as a Research Associate at Wayne State University School of Medicine from 2001-2009. During this time, they also held Adjunct Faculty positions at Henry Ford College and Grand Rapids Community College from 2009-2015. In 2015, they began working as an Adjunct Professor at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine and most recently, they are the Scientific Director of Contract Researcher and Scientist at Functional Fluidics since 2021.

Aliya U. Zaidi, PhD began their educational journey in 1990 when they earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology, General from the University of Windsor. Aliya U. then continued their studies at the same university, completing a Doctor of Philosophy in Biology/Biological Sciences, General in 1998.
