Silvia Carneiro

Silvia Carneiro is a Senior Lighting Designer at IRIS um olhar para o Futuro since May 2005, specializing in lighting projects utilizing LED technology for energy efficiency across various sectors, including retail, industrial, hospitals, hotels, and corporate environments. Silvia also serves as a member of the International Committee for the International Dark-Sky Association, representing Brazil since October 2020, advocating for the conservation of the night sky. Additionally, Silvia has held teaching positions in Lighting Design at multiple institutions including Faculdade Roberto Miranda, Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado, and IPOG, among others, while contributing to various organizations such as ABNT and SBLuz. Educational credentials include a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and Urbanism from Uninove and multiple postgraduate qualifications in Lighting and Interior Design from IPOG.
