Izaskun Lacunza

Izaskun Lacunza has extensive experience in the field of science and technology, currently serving as the Coordinator of the Science and Technology Office of the Congress of Deputies and the Head of the International Projects Unit at the Fundación Española para la Ciencia y la Tecnología (FECYT) since October 2014. Previous roles include Executive Director at LIBER, where responsibilities included implementing the strategic plan and leading institutional relations, and various project officer positions at FECYT focused on Open Access and scientific information management. Izaskun holds a PhD in Analytical Chemistry from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and has authored multiple scientific publications, contributing to important research in capillary electrophoresis.
