Elena Alemán Álvarez

Elena Alemán is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership and engineering. Currently serving as the President of Fundación LuzIA since June 2021, Elena promotes a humanized and ethical approach to artificial intelligence, engaging youth through initiatives like the School Week of Artificial Intelligence. Additionally, as the Director of Fundación Industrial Navarra, Elena fosters collaboration and innovation among companies to enhance competitiveness, while also leading the Colegio Oficial de Ingenieros Industriales de Navarra since 2004, managing economic and organizational aspects of the institution. Previously, Elena worked as a Project Engineer at Iturralde y Sagües Ingenieros, overseeing projects in various sectors, and began a career in education as a mathematics, physics, and chemistry teacher at Colegio San Cernin. Elena holds degrees in Industrial Engineering and Technical Industrial Engineering from Universidad Pública de Navarra.
