Bulent Buyuksayar

Bulent Buyuksayar has had a diverse range of work experiences throughout their career. In 2004, they started their journey in Arçelik Global, where they held various roles including Reporting and Consolidation Specialist, HR Generalist, and HR Business Partner. During their time at Arçelik Global, they successfully led initiatives in employer branding, talent acquisition, and launched the Graduate Program. Their efforts resulted in increased job applications and improved employer brand perception.

In 2016, Bulent joined Borusan Otomotiv as the BMW Retail HR Unit Manager. Here, they implemented Retail HR concepts, supported and consulted BMW dealers in HR processes, and managed the relationship between BMW AG, Borusan Automotive, and EY for the Retail HR Project.

In 2019, Bulent worked at Vodafone on a project focused on Organisational Effectiveness. Bulent played a key role in building over 500 job profiles for more than 90,000 employees globally, validated job profiles with HRBPs and business units, and ensured accurate mapping of positions into the system.

Since 2017, Bulent has been the Founder, Recruitment Consultant, and Executive Career Coach at SmartStarts Consultancy, a boutique consultancy company that provides recruitment services globally. With a team of experienced professionals, they help candidates find suitable roles while delivering custom solutions aligned with organizational dynamics and expectations.

In 2022, Bulent joined funded.club as a Senior Recruitment Consultant. Funded.club is a startup recruitment service provider that has supported startups in 50 countries across 6 continents in talent acquisition.

Bulent Buyuksayar's education history includes a Bachelor's degree in Labor Economics & Industrial Relations from Anadolu University. Bulent also holds an Associate's degree in Market Research and Advertising from Istanbul University. Prior to that, Bulent graduated from Kabatas Erkek Lisesi with a High School Diploma in Social Sciences. In addition to their academic qualifications, they have obtained certifications such as the AoEC Practitioner Diploma in Executive Coaching from the AoEC - The Academy of Executive Coaching, obtained in July 2022, and the ICAgile Certified Professional Agile Coaching ICP-ACC from ICAgile, obtained in October 2020.
