FICS’ vision is a world in which people have the power to hold leaders accountable and shape their government, economy and society towards justice, equality and fairness for all. 

FICS believes civic space is the engine room for generating the ideas, shared will and collaboration needed to create fairer futures. We exist to defend and expand civic space, especially by motivating the philanthropic community to help push back on the shrinking of precious physical world and digital spaces. 

FICS forecasts the trends that will shape the future of civic space,  and we host new initiatives to help mobilise resources, alongside grant-making and field-building.
