Katherine Sheppard

Katherine Sheppard has a strong background in software engineering and has held several positions in the field. Katherine began their career at the Institute for Shipboard Education as an IT Intern in 2015. In 2016, they worked as a Software Engineering Intern at Fidelity Investments. Katherine then joined Sila Solutions Group in 2017 as a Software Engineer, where they gained experience in software development, systems architecture, and solution implementation. During their time at Sila Solutions Group, they also obtained a certification in Factor Analysis of Information Risk (FAIR). Currently, Katherine is working at Fundrise, starting as a Software Engineer in 2019 and later being promoted to Lead Software Engineer and Principal Software Engineer.

Katherine Sheppard obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science from James Madison University from 2013 to 2017. In February 2019, they also obtained the Docker Certified Associate certification from Docker, Inc.
