Alagarswamy Devaraj

Alagarswamy Devaraj has over 17 years of work experience. Alagarswamy is currently the Director of QA at Fungible, Inc., where they lead the QA team in testing the DataPlane of Fungible Software Storage Stack. Alagarswamy is responsible for test plan preparation, setting up testbeds, test automation, and guiding the team. Alagarswamy also develops applications in C for testing hardware accelerators in the Fungible proprietary chip.

Prior to their current role, Devaraj worked as a QA Technical Lead at Cancun Systems and as a QA Lead at VeloCloud. At Cancun Systems, they led the testing efforts for various projects, while at VeloCloud, they enhanced test coverage for key paths and led the testing of SD-WAN features.

Devaraj also has experience working at ScaleArc, Juniper Networks, Ankeena Networks, Cisco Systems, and HCL Technologies. At Juniper Networks, they managed a team and was responsible for debugging and reproducing customer defects. At Ankeena Networks, they managed a team and developed and executed test cases for media flow controller features. At Cisco Systems, they worked as a Software/QA Engineer, developing test plans and verifying customer found defects. At HCL Technologies, they worked as a Lead Engineer, performing manual and automation testing for various Cisco products.

Throughout their career, Devaraj has demonstrated strong leadership, testing expertise, and technical skills in the field of QA.

Alagarswamy Devaraj completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from Sri Vasavi College, from 1997 to 2000. Following this, they pursued a Master of Computer Applications degree from the Institute of Road and Transport Technology from 2000 to 2003. In terms of additional certifications, Alagarswamy obtained the Cisco Certified Network Associate certification from Cisco Systems in November 2007, and the JNCIS - ENT certification from Juniper Networks in June 2014.
