Security (red Team) at Funko

Phoenix Fier has a strong background in security and technology. They started their career as a Technology Assistant at Eureka College, where they were responsible for installing and updating campus software, managing student and teacher information, and maintaining resources. They then worked as an Application Security Intern at CME Group, gaining valuable experience in application security. Phoenix went on to become a Teaching Assistant and Computer Lab Assistant at the Illinois Institute of Technology, where they provided support and assistance in various technology-related tasks. They also worked as a Copy Editor at TechNews, where they ensured the grammar, structure, and tone of submitted work and served as the sole copy-editor for a period of time.

Phoenix's career then shifted towards security consulting, starting with their role as an Application Security Consultant at nVisium, where they focused on application security. They later joined RedLegg as a Penetration Testing Security Consultant, specializing in penetration testing. In their most recent role at Funko as a Security (Red Team) professional, Phoenix performed manual application security testing, assessed physical security, and managed security awareness training and phishing for the organization.

Throughout their work experience, Phoenix has demonstrated strong skills in security assessment, application security, and technology support.

Phoenix Fier attended Eureka College from 2010 to 2012, where they studied Computer Science and English, though they did not receive a degree. Following this, from 2012 to 2016, Phoenix attended the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT), where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
