Furness College
Jenny Holden-Wilde has a vast experience in the field of animal management, biology, and environmental science. Jenny is currently a lecturer at Furness College and also runs their own ecological consultancy, Wilde Ecology. Jenny has a background in working with various wildlife conservation projects, including being a Scottish Beaver Trial Field Officer and Water Vole Project Officer. Jenny holds a BSc in Biology and the Media, a PGCE in Adult and Continuing Education and Teaching, and recently completed an MSc in Livestock Genetics. In addition to their professional endeavors, Jenny also manages a small flock of sheep called Smali Shetland Sheep.
Furness College
Furness College is the largest provider of education and skills training in Cumbria. It is on two campuses with a further education college at Channelside and a specialist sixth form campus at Rating Lane. The college offers a wide choice of qualifications from A Levels and apprenticeships to vocational courses and university degrees. It is rated good with outstanding provision for engineering and law by Ofsted. The college works closely with employers to provide technical, professional and academic education to meet the needs of businesses.
