Sr. Systems Engineer at Fusion Connect

George Martin has over 15 years of work experience in the field of systems engineering. George started their career in 2004 at South Florida Water Management District as a contractor. Later on, they joined Apptix in the same year and worked as a Sr. Systems Engineer until 2016. At Apptix, George was responsible for engineering and administering computer systems, including various platforms such as Microsoft, VMware, Cisco, Dell, and HP. In 2016, George joined Fusion as a Sr. Systems Engineer, where they continue to work.

George Martin attended Keiser College from 2001 to 2003, where they obtained an Associate of Science Degree in Computer Network Administration. Apart from their degree, George has obtained several certifications in various fields. In 2002, they acquired the CCNA certification from Cisco and the A+ certification from CompTIA. In 2004, they obtained the Network+ certification from CompTIA. Throughout their career, George continued to enhance their skills and expertise by acquiring additional certifications. In 2007, they attained the VCP VI3 certification from VMware, followed by the MCSE Messaging Server 2003 certification from Microsoft in 2008. In 2010, George obtained the EMCISA certification from EMC. In 2012, they acquired the MCITP Enterprise Messaging Exchange 2010 certification from Microsoft, and in 2013, they gained the NCDA certification from NetApp and the MCITP Enterprise Administration Server 2008 certification from Microsoft. In 2016, George obtained the VCP5.5-DCV certification from VMware, and in 2018, they acquired the VCP6 DCV certification, also from VMware. Currently, George is working towards obtaining the VMware Certified Advanced Professional 6.5 - Data Center Virtualization Design certification.
