Fatima Abbas

Fatima Abbas has a diverse work experience in the IT and Telecom industry. Fatima started their career as a Technical Recruiter at Dibon Solutions in 2005, where they worked as an unpaid Intern and gained experience in training coordination and recruiting. In 2005, they also worked as a Technical Recruiter at PDS Technical Services.

In 2006, Fatima joined Fusion Solutions, LLC as a Technical Recruiter and was responsible for hiring IT and Telecom professionals in various fields. Fatima was promoted to Lead Technical Recruiter - Telecom in 2010, where they managed and mentored recruiters in IT and Telecom fields. In 2014, they became a Recruiting Manager, overseeing the hiring and mentoring of recruiters as well as working closely with hiring managers to understand technical needs and provide solutions. Fatima was later promoted to Director of Recruiting and Customer Relations, where they performed sales and business development duties for new and existing clients.

In 2015, Fatima joined Fusion Technical Solutions as President. Fatima leveraged their executive leadership experience to provide consulting services in Telecom, specializing in areas such as RAN/RF Network, Core Network, Fiber/OSP, IP Network Engineering, Billing, Security, and Cloud Computing. Fusion Technical Solutions offered comprehensive consulting and staffing services for the Telecom, Network Communications, and IT industry. Fatima also provided expertise in visa processing and ensured consultants were provided to clients ranging from H1b to L1, TN, and E3 visas.

Fatima Abbas pursued their education in a chronological manner. In 1982, they attended Habib Girls School, where they completed their Higher Secondary School education with a focus on Economics. From 1992 to 1996, they studied at Bangladesh International Tutorial (BIT), acquiring their O & A Levels in Applied Economics. Following this, they enrolled at North South University from 1996 to 1999, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Economics. Lastly, from 2003 to 2005, Fatima attended The University of Texas at Arlington, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Economics with concentrations in Finance, Statistics, and Economics.
