Rui Deng

Rui Deng began their career in 2011 as a Safety and Environmental Supervisor at Beijing Benz Automotive Co., Ltd. In this role, they were responsible for the establishment, maintenance, and improvement of the company's ISO14001 Environmental Management System. In 2014, they moved to Daimler as a Security Officer. Here, they were responsible for site security management, establishing and implementing plant security management systems according to Bayer HQ security guidelines. In 2016, they joined Great Wall Motor Finance and Investment China as a Corporate Security and Admin Management Manager and Security and Safety Manager, China. In this role, they proposed and implemented safety concepts to guarantee adequate safety for employees, company assets, and compliance with legal, statutory, and regulatory requirements. Rui also assisted in preparing and updating company safety and security standards.

Rui Deng attended the University of Sydney from 2009 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science. Rui then attended the University of Technology Sydney from 2008 to 2009, where they obtained a Master's degree in Enviromental Engineering. Prior to that, they attended the Nanjing Agricultural University from 2003 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science. Additionally, Rui Deng is certified as an ISO14001 Internal Auditor and a Registered Environmental Protection Engineer by the Chinese Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security.
