Annachiara Ruospo

AI Safety Community Junior Researchers at Future of Life Institute

Annachiara Ruospo is currently an AI Safety Community Junior Researcher at the Future of Life Institute (FLI) since October 2023, focusing on ensuring AI remains safe and beneficial. At Politecnico di Torino, Annachiara has served as an Assistant Professor and held positions as a Postdoctoral Researcher and PhD Student, concentrating on the reliability and security assessment of modern embedded devices, particularly in safety-critical systems and Artificial Neural Network-based systems. A visiting PhD student at École Centrale de Lyon in 2021, Annachiara assessed the reliability of deep learning systems. Additionally, Annachiara co-founded the Mu Nu Chapter of IEEE-Eta Kappa Nu at Politecnico di Torino and served as Head of Corporate Training and academic tutor for relevant courses. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Computer Science Engineering from Politecnico di Torino and a Master's degree in Embedded Systems from the same institution, complemented by an internship at ETH Zürich and formal training in classic guitar.
