David Newton

David Newton has a diverse work experience in the media industry. David started their career as a Media Executive at MediaVest in 2003. Later, they worked as a Press Manager at PHD Media Ltd, where they managed print advertising strategy for various clients. In 2009, they joined Carat Manchester as a Media Manager, responsible for planning, buying, and managing advertising campaigns. David also supervised junior staff and evaluated media buying for media audits. David then joined Guardian News & Media as an Agency Sales Executive in 2012. In 2015, they moved to TI Media as a Regional Strategic Business Development Director. Currently, they are working at Future as a Regional Trading Director but will soon transition to the role of Business Director in April 2023.

David Newton attended the University of Central Lancashire from 2000 to 2003 and obtained a 2:1 degree in Marketing & Public Relations. Prior to that, from 1992 to 1998, they studied at North Chadderton, although the specific degree obtained and field of study are unknown.
