Joel Marks is an experienced sales and operations leader with a strong background in EdTech and business management. Currently serving as the Sales Operations Team Lead at FutureLearn since March 2020, Joel has played a critical role in scaling the platform to over 18 million customers and enhancing operational efficiencies through extensive automation. Previously, Joel held multiple positions at FutureLearn, including Operations Team Lead and Senior Operations Manager, where key achievements included launching the FutureLearn Schools Initiative and optimizing sales performance with revamping CRM systems. Prior experience includes managing business operations at Strive Training, where Joel implemented cloud-based solutions and facilitated significant cost savings. Joel also spearheaded innovative educational programs in challenging environments while at Strive Training and managed logistics for a charity at Jewish Futures Trust Limited.
