Owor Yoakim

Owor Yoakim has a wealth of experience in software engineering. Owor began their career in 2014 as a Teaching Assistant at Team University Uganda. In 2019, they began working at Crystal Technologies Uganda as a Software Engineer. That same year, they also began working at Andela as a Software Engineer. In 2020, Owor Yoakim began working at Pluto TV as a Software Engineer, where they built Drupal modules that integrated Brightcove Video Cloud with a Drupal website. Owor also developed functionality to create remote video assets in Brightcove, stream live events from the remote assets, and capture and automatically upload VOD assets to Brightcove. Owor also began working at Futurestay in 2020 as a Software Engineer (Backend).

Owor Yoakim earned a Master of Computer Applications (M.C.A.) from the University of Mysore in 2018, specializing in Computer Software Engineering. Owor completed a Bachelor of Computer Engineering from Busitema University in 2012, where they studied Computer Engineering. Additionally, in 2016 they obtained an Oracle Certified Associate (OCA) 11g Administration certification from Oracle University.
