Ekwa Duala-Ekoko

Ekwa Duala-Ekoko has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Ekwa currently holds the role of Senior Director Of Engineering at Fuze, where they are responsible for overseeing the engineering department. In their previous role as Director Of Engineering - Devices & DevOps at Fuze, they managed a team of DevOps and Site Reliability Engineers, as well as a team of Engineers that built and maintained the API backend for Fuze Devices.

Prior to joining Fuze, Ekwa worked at Mitel Networks as a Software Development Manager, leading a team of developers and QA staff in the development of Mitel's OSS cloud platform. Ekwa also played a key role in growing Mitel's onshore OSS development team and recruiting and training the offshore team.

Ekwa has also held positions at MoodPik Inc., Cambrai Solutions (Acquired by Mitel Networks), Canadian Bank Note, and Hydro One, where they gained experience in software engineering, scrum mastering, and programming analysis.

Throughout their career, Ekwa has demonstrated their ability to manage cross-functional teams, lead agile development projects, and implement strategies that improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Ekwa Duala-Ekoko completed a Master's Degree in Computer Science from McGill University from 2004 to 2006. Subsequently, from 2007 to 2012, Ekwa Duala-Ekoko pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science at the same university.
