Lim Chin Kwang

Lim Chin Kwang has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and responsibilities in various companies. Starting from 2000, they worked as an Application Engineer at Cognixion Technologies Pte Ltd, where they played a role in enhancing and maintaining the Intelligence Character Recognition (ICR) engine. From 2003 to 2005, they worked at Oakwell Engineering Ltd as an Application Engineer, focusing on the enhancement and maintenance of the ICR library. Lim then joined Green Dot Internet Services as a Senior Application Engineer / Technical Manager, where they served as a key technical person working with LTA (Land Transport Authority) and performed impact analysis on user requests.

In 2006, Lim transitioned to Frontline Solution Pte Ltd as a Team Lead and Solution Architect. In this role, they analyzed business processes, gathered requirements, and translated them into system architecture designs. Lim moved on to Mediacorp Pte Ltd in 2007 as a Senior Manager, Business System, where they project managed new projects and initiatives and established support processes for daily run-the-business activities.

From 2010 to 2011, Lim worked at Global Yellow Pages as an Application Manager, responsible for enhancing the GYP online product family applications and architecting in-house common services such as Single Sign-On Service and Ad Trafficking System. Lim then joined Reebonz Pte Ltd as a Senior Application Architect from 2011 to 2016, leading and mentoring the development team in architecting, developing, and maintaining enterprise e-commerce backend ecosystems.

Lim's most recent work experience has been at FWD Insurance, where they started in 2017 as a Team Lead for Frontend Application. Lim later became the Head of Front-end Application & Integration, overseeing the ecosystem strategy, architecture design, development, and system monitoring and operation. In 2020, they were promoted to AVP, Frontend Applications & Integration at FWD Group Office, and in 2021, they assumed the role of VP Digital Platforms Delivery - Nextgen Website & Ecommerce.

Throughout their career, Lim has shown a dedication to staying up-to-date with the latest technologies to support business growth and platform advancement in the companies they have worked for.

Lim Chin Kwang attended Universiti Teknologi Malaysia from 1996 to 2000, where they obtained an Honour Degree in Computer Science.
