Maria Carolina Gonzalez has been in the field of Information Operations since 2003. In 2003, they were an intern at the Colombian Government Trade Bureau. From 2005 to 2015, they worked at buho Clarity for Leaders as an Information Operations Coordinator for USMILGP. Maria Carolina Gonzalez has a diverse educational background. Maria Carolina attended Sacred Heart School Colombia (Trinidad del Monte) from 1987 to 1999, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences. From 1999 to 2004, they attended Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, earning a Political Scientist degree in International Relations and Affairs. In 2003, they also took a course at Georgetown University in Key Issues In the Global Economy. From 2004 to 2005, they attended Pontificia Universidad Javeriana again, earning a Post Graduate degree in International System Integration. From 2007 to 2013, they attended Universidad Torcuato Di Tella, earning an MA in International Studies in International Relations and Affairs. In 2013, they took a course at the William Perry Center for Hemispheric Defense Studies in Perspectives on Homeland Security and Defense. Maria Carolina also took a course at the same institution in Strategy and Defense Policy in 2012. In 2014, they attended the United States Institute of Peace, earning a Strategic Peacebuilding Course in Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution.
