Elizabeth Wang has a diverse and extensive work experience. Elizabeth is currently the Chief Legal Officer and Co-Founder of FXM, a FinTech company that specializes in supply chain financing solutions for the digital media industry. Prior to their current role, Elizabeth was the Founder and Principal of Elizabeth Wang Law Offices, where they provided legal services to innovative digital technology companies. Notable clients included RightMedia, PointRoll, AdTech, and Catalist. Elizabeth also served as the Vice President and General Counsel at Schrödinger, a position they held from 2008 to 2010. Before that, Elizabeth founded and led their own law firm, Elizabeth Wang Law Offices, from 2005 to 2008. Elizabeth has also taught as an Adjunct Professor at Columbia Law School, where they designed and taught a seminar on the business and legal aspects of deal making and corporate lawyering, with a focus on tech company clients. Earlier in their career, Elizabeth held senior legal roles at DoubleClick Inc. and Simon & Schuster, Inc. Elizabeth began their legal career as an Associate at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP and later at Howard Rice. Throughout their career, Elizabeth has gained expertise in corporate transactional law, intellectual property, technology, and digital marketing.

Elizabeth Wang holds a J.D. degree from Columbia Law School. Elizabeth also earned an A.B. degree in Government from Harvard University. Additionally, they studied Political Science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Elizabeth obtained a Pilates Teaching Certification from The Kane School of Core Integration at Kinected Center.
