Nicholus Mboga

Nicholus Mboga is a Data Scientist at GIM - smart geo insights since December 2022, with prior experience as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Antwerp, focusing on Machine Learning for Computer Vision and Image Signal Processing from March 2022 to November 2022. Nicholus served as a Geomatics Engineer and Scientist while pursuing a PhD at Université libre de Bruxelles from October 2017 to March 2022, and gained experience as a Visiting Researcher at ETH Zürich EcoVision lab in February 2020, specializing in Domain Adaptation techniques for deep neural networks. Additionally, Nicholus was a Graduate Researcher in the ITC excellence programme at the Faculty of Geo-Information Science and Earth Observation of the University of Twente from April 2017 to June 2017, and holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Geo-informatics from the same institution, completed in 2017.
