Andrew Lockwood

Andrew Lockwood is a Senior Research Scientist at Xcalibur Multiphysics, focusing on novel hydrogen detection methods since May 2023. Concurrently, Andrew serves as a Consultant Geophysicist at Dante Geoscientific, leveraging over 20 years of experience in innovative technologies and expertise in electromagnetic prospecting for hydrocarbons and minerals. Additionally, Andrew has a strong background in microgravity methods for reservoir monitoring and is a named inventor on patents related to marine seismic surveying. Previously, Andrew held various positions at Woodside Energy, including R&D Lead, Principal Geophysicist, and Senior Geophysicist from January 2005 to October 2022, and worked as a geophysicist at the Geological Survey of Western Australia between 2002 and 2004. Andrew is an alumnus of The University of Queensland.
