Roger Babooram

Roger Babooram has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Roger started their career at Petrotrin as a Senior HR Analyst in September 1997 and held that position until April 2012.Roger then joined The Barbados Light & Power Company Limited, where they worked as an HR Manager from June 2012 to February 2016. Following that, they served as the Director of Shared Services, overseeing HR, ICT, Facilities, and Admin, from March 2016 to May 2017. From June 2017 to March 2019, they held the position of HR Director for Trinidad, Barbados, and Curacao at Cable & Wireless Communications. Currently, they are working as a People Director at Liberty Latin America since April 2019.

Roger Babooram completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Management Studies from the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus, from 1992 to 1995. Roger also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Heriot-Watt University. Prior to their university education, Roger attended Naparima College. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications, including Certified HR Business Partner from AIHR | Academy to Innovate HR in 2022, and several HR-related certifications from LinkedIn, which they obtained in 2023.
