Matthew Oconnell

Matthew OConnell has an extensive work experience in various roles and positions over the years. Starting in 1996, they worked as a Graduate Student at Alfred University, pursuing their MS and PhD. In 2000, they joined TACR as a Development Engineer until 2004. Matthew then moved to General Electric as a Special Process Engineer and later became the IGT Airfoils Sub-Section Manager. In 2009, they transitioned to GE Energy, Energy Services Engineering as the Global Repair Development Center Manager until 2012. From 2012 to 2020, they worked at GE Aviation, where they held several positions including Manufacturing Sciences Engineering Manager, CMC Supply Chain Leader, and GM Combustors & Structures VS. In September 2020, they became the President & CEO of G.S. Precision Inc.

Matthew OConnell obtained their M.S. in Glass & Matls Science from Alfred University in 2000.
