Monica R. has over 20 years of experience in corporate legal roles, with a focus on providing guidance to senior executives and board members on regulatory compliance and risk management. Their most recent position was as General Counsel, Corporate Secretary, and Chief Compliance Officer at G1 Therapeutics, Inc. Prior to that, they served as Vice President, Head of Corporate Legal, and Assistant Corporate Secretary at Radius Health, Inc., where they implemented a contract lifecycle management system to increase efficiency and minimize risk. Monica also served as Associate General Counsel and Global Head of Rare Legal at UCB, where they partnered with Oxford University to create a Preceptorships Medical Tutorial program to increase awareness of rare medical conditions. Monica began their legal career as a Corporate and Securities Associate at Smith Anderson, and served as a Law Clerk for Justice Mark Martin at the North Carolina Supreme Court before that.
