Specialising in complex commercial litigation, Nicholas offers broad experience advising in relation to commercial and contractual disputes, insolvency, agribusiness, rural family succession planning and insurance matters.

Nicholas is well recognised for his tenacity, strategic thought and personal service to clients. He has particular expertise in relation to the Corporations Act including, but not limited to, disputes involving corporate structuring, director’s common law and statutory duties, voidable and preference transactions, corporate governance and shareholder disputes, as well as insolvent administration and the liquidation of companies.

Offering clients skills in alternative dispute resolution including mediation, Nicholas continues to act for both ASX listed and private corporates, insolvency practitioners, government agencies and private clients, particularly within the gambling and entertainment, healthcare, property and agribusiness sectors.

Over the course of his career, he has acted in relation to numerous complex claims and disputes including matters in the Federal Court of Australia, the Supreme and County Courts of Victoria, the Supreme and District Courts of New South Wales and the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal.
