Subin Babu

Subin Babu has diverse work experience in the field of software development, particularly in Android application development. SUBIN began their career as a Junior Mobile Developer at Artificers Technologies in 2015, where they gained foundational knowledge in Android and Hybrid (Cordova/Phone Gap) development. Subsequently, at the same company, they worked as a Mobile Developer, building hybrid mobile applications using Cordova and Phone Gap. SUBIN also developed Android applications using the Android SDK and the Java programming language.

In 2017, Subin joined Freelancer.com as an Android Developer. Here, they collaborated closely with local mobile device manufacturer clients to develop high-quality mobile applications. SUBIN developed various applications, including customer management, launchers, custom keyboards, and e-commerce applications.

Following their time at Freelancer.com, Subin worked at SectorQube, Inc. as both an Android Developer and Senior Android Developer. In these roles, they developed applications for well-known businesses, managed a development team, and ensured on-time project delivery. SUBIN also created applications such as a reminder app, a safety app for Dubai, and a hospital management app.

After their tenure at SectorQube, Subin joined Hopes Coding PVT LTD in 2019 as a Senior Android Developer. SUBIN worked closely with a product-based company, Tathkarah, on a travel port solution. SUBIN updated existing Java code to Kotlin and integrated gRPC instead of RestAPI using proto files. Subin worked effectively within cross-functional teams, including designers, project managers, developers, testers, and individuals from diverse technical backgrounds.

Subin's most recent experience is as a Senior Software Engineer at Gadgeon Systems Inc., where they develop Android applications for IoT-connected medical devices. SUBIN uses AWS and GCP services to monitor health data and communicates with MQTT-based IoT devices. Additionally, they manage a team of Android developers, actively participates in project tracking using Jira, and contributes to scrum and sprint planning.

Throughout their career, Subin has consistently demonstrated their ability to adapt to different technologies, manage teams, deliver quality products, and meet project deadlines.

Subin Babu completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Kerala from 2010 to 2014. SUBIN then pursued a MCTS (Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist) course in Dotnet (c#) at I-Net Infotech in 2015.

Before pursuing higher education, Subin completed their Higher Secondary Examination in Science from Govt H S S Punnala in 2010 and their Secondary Examination [SSLC] in Science from St.Stephen's School, Pathanapuram in 2008.

In addition to their formal education, Subin Babu obtained the Google India Challenge Scholarship for the Android Developer track from Google in February 2018.
