Cris Flores has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. They started their career as an Assistant II at UC Davis Bookstore in 2008. They then interned at the UC Davis Sports Biomechanics Lab, where they gained experience in modeling and creating technical drawings. In 2011, Cris joined Atlas Copco as a Machine Design Engineer II, where they designed turbomachinery and developed tools for turbine optimization. They then moved on to SolarCity in 2014 as a PV Designer II, designing photovoltaic systems and participating in pilot projects. In 2017, they joined Tesla as a PV Designer III, contributing to the development and scaling of design processes and protocols for PV and energy storage system solutions. They later became a Technical Project Manager, supporting the system design group as a Solar Roof product expert. In 2019, Cris joined GAF Energy, initially serving as a Lead System Designer and then transitioning to the role of Program Manager in September 2021.
Cris Flores earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Davis, where they studied from 2007 to 2011.
