Evan Wray has a diverse work experience in renewable energy and manufacturing industries. Evan started their career at Brooks Automation as a Welder/Assembler, where they implemented lean manufacturing practices and trained new staff members. Evan then joined SolarCity as a Licensed Electrician Crew Lead, where they were responsible for the safety and efficiency of a crew, completing multiple jobs per day, and training new workers. Evan later worked at Tesla as an Installation Quality Specialist, conducting quality audits and troubleshooting solar and storage systems. At Sun First Solar, they served as an Electrical Project Manager, handling all operational duties related to storage and PV installations and developing quality standards for installation crews. Currently, Evan is working at GAF Energy, initially as an Applications Design Engineer and then in their current role as the Applications Design Engineering Manager.

Evan Wray's education history includes attending Santa Rosa Junior College from 2010 to 2013, where they obtained an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Natural Sciences. Evan furthered their education at the same institution from 2014 to 2015 and earned a Certificate in Solar Photovoltaics. Additionally, Evan Wray has obtained several certifications in the field. In 2014, they received the NABCEP Entry Level Certification from the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners. In 2016, they obtained the OSHA 30 Hour Construction Safety Card from OSHA-Safety-Training.com. Evan Wray also holds the California Residential Electrician Journeyman certification, which they obtained in December 2016 from the California Department of Industrial Relations.
