Baxter Eldridge has worked in various positions since 2013. Baxter began as a LEGO® Robotics Assistant at Devil Mountain Summer Camp in 2013. In 2014, they became a Summer Intern at FormFactor Inc., where they designed, assembled, and programmed a tabletop endurance tester for sockets. Baxter returned to FormFactor Inc. in 2015 as a Summer Intern, where they redesigned a singulated-die-test-socket to reduce its cost. In 2016, they became a Contractor at Johns Hopkins University School of Education and a Summer Intern at Berkeley Lights, Inc., where they designed and programmed a diagnostic system to determine the proximity to and failure of a syringe pump. In 2017, they became an Intern at Chirp Microsystems, Inc., where they designed and tested VR controller and headset enclosures for the company’s ultralow power ultrasonic sensor. Baxter then became a Contractor at Nutcracker Theraputics in 2019. In 2020, they became a Mechatronics Engineer at Modular Bionics Inc. and in 2021, they became a Research and Development Engineer at Scale Biosciences, Inc., where they were Head of hardware division and developed custom labware from proof of concept to beta user product and implemented CMOs for rollout and certification. Baxter is currently a Mechatronics Engineer at Prolific Machines Inc.
Baxter Eldridge completed their high school diploma at The Athenian School in 2013. Baxter then attended The Johns Hopkins University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 2017. Following this, they attended Stanford University, where they earned a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 2019.
