Miguel Andres Trujillo

Miguel Andres Trujillo has a wealth of experience in motion design and digital media. Miguel began their career in 1998 as a 2D/3D Motion Designer at Starz Encore Group, where they were responsible for design and creation of motion design graphics. In 2005, they moved to AXS TV as a Motion Designer/Art Director, where they designed and animated for a wide variety of television programming. From 2013 to 2018, Miguel worked at Starz as Senior Motion Designer, then as a Motion Design Consultant at Empower Retirement. In 2015, they started their own business, Trujillo Design, where they served as Senior Designer/Principle and Owner/Creative Director. In 2019, they joined Springboard as a UX Career Track Design Student, and in 2020 they moved to Gaia Inc. as Supervising Senior Animator. Currently, they are working as Senior Marketing Manager/Video Animation and Editing at Frontier Communications.

Miguel Andres Trujillo's education history includes a Bachelor of Fine Arts - BFA from Colorado State University, which they obtained between 1985 and 1989 with a focus in graphic design. Miguel then went on to get a Master of Arts (MA) from the University of Denver between 2005 and 2009, with a field of study in Digital Communication and Media/Multimedia. Most recently, they completed the UX Career Track from Springboard in 2019, which focused on UX Design. Miguel also has additional certifications from LinkedIn, including Adobe XD CC Essential Training: Design (2018) and Planning a Career in User Experience, which they obtained in November 2019 and July 2019 respectively.
