Mark Butcher started his career in the utility construction industry in Massachusetts in 1985. He began as a laborer and within two years he was promoted to foreman. In 2004, Mark decided to move his family to Raleigh, North Carolina, and since joining Gaines and Company, Mark has proved himself to be invaluable. He has an excellent attitude and gives 110% every day on the job. He organizes a crew like a maestro leading a symphony. His audience of inspectors and customers cheer for his performance. In his spare time he enjoys playing the drums, a hobby he began at age 9. His band opened for Kenny Rogers and the Crickets at one time. He is a dedicated family man that treasures time outdoors with his family riding quads, dirt bikes, and hiking.
