David Nordstedt

David Nordstedt has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. David started their career as a Cabinetmaker at Busby Cabinets in 1984. From 1989 to 1998, they worked as a Project/Operations Manager at the same company, overseeing the estimation, manufacturing, and installation of cabinetry and woodworking for custom home construction.

In 2002, Nordstedt joined Phoneomena, Inc. as VP Business Development. David was responsible for researching and writing proposals for new business development and creating training materials for a customized multi-lingual online learning site. David also deployed and supported a military messaging system.

At Phoneomena, Inc., Nordstedt also worked as a Chief Software Architect. David co-designed and implemented an XML-based language for mobile application development and designed, implemented, and supported mobile LOB applications using mobile phones and Java technology. David also served as a Redhat Enterprise Linux Administrator and Systems Administrator.

In 2007, Nordstedt joined Infinite Energy as a Senior Software Engineer. In this role, they designed and developed enterprise-level network applications, enhanced and provided new features for the billing system, and designed and supported a document processing system for business correspondence with customers.

Most recently, Nordstedt has been working at Gainesville Regional Utilities since 2017 as an IT Software Architect. No end date is specified, indicating that they are still in this role.

David Nordstedt obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Florida from 1998 to 2001. David also pursued a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Florida from 2000 to 2001.
