Alistair Field has extensive work experience in various roles related to customer success, community management, and knowledge management. Their most recent positions include Head of Community at Gainsight and inSided, where they started in 2022. Prior to that, they were a Founding Member at Practical CSM in 2021. Alistair also worked at Coveo from 2019 to 2022, holding roles such as KCS (Knowledge Centered Service) Coach, Customer Success Architect, and Customer Success Manager. Before joining Coveo, they worked at Siemens PLM Software as an Online Community Manager from 2017 to 2019. Alistair's earlier experience includes roles as a Knowledge Manager and Senior Application Engineer at CD-adapco, as well as a CAE Thermofluid Engineer at Caterpillar Inc., where they started their career in 2006.

Alistair Field completed their education with a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Mechanical Engineering with Automotive Design from Brunel University London. Alistair attended the university from 2001 to 2006. In addition to their degree, Alistair Field also obtained various certifications including KCS Practices v6 from The KCS Academy, Certified Customer Success Manager (CCSM) Level 1 from SuccessHACKER, and multiple leadership and professional development certifications from LinkedIn.
