Kim Jenkins

Kim Jenkins, PMP has over 16 years of experience in project management and IT roles. Currently, they work as an IT Project Manager at Gainsight since June 2021. Previously, they held the position of Information Technology Project Manager at Open to New Opportunities (#ONO) from June 2020.

From 2018 to 2020, Kim worked at Synamedia, where they led high visibility projects and initiated a global on-boarding process. Kim also created user-friendly documentation for the Helpdesk Support team.

Prior to that, Kim worked at Cisco from 2007 to 2018. Kim served as an Engineering Project Manager, where they defined processes and procedures for software development. Kim also worked as a Project Specialist and a Project Coordinator, where they tracked software release requests and implemented automated release request forms.

Before joining Cisco, Kim worked at Scientific Atlanta as a Senior Customer Service Specialist. In this role, they provided exceptional service to cable providers and managed customer purchase order backlogs.

Throughout their career, Kim has demonstrated strong leadership skills, collaboration abilities, and a commitment to delivering successful projects. Kim is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).

Kim Jenkins, PMP holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies from the University of Montevallo. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications including Cert Prep: Project Management Professional (PMP) from LinkedIn, which they obtained in July 2020. Kim also holds certifications in Characteristics of a Great Scrum Master, Managing Project Stakeholders, and The Key to Good Communication: Your Audience, all of which were obtained from LinkedIn in April and May 2020.
