Joe Garcia

Joe Garcia has a diverse work experience in the field of quality assurance and project coordination. Their most recent role was as a Quality Assurance Engineer at Gala since 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a QA Support Analyst at Live Nation Entertainment from 2021 to 2022, where they were responsible for resolving application issues and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Before that, Joe served as a Lead Quality Assurance Analyst at Wevr in 2020, conducting VR testing and providing feedback to shape the user experience. Joe also organized playtest sessions and implemented tools to improve test plans and efficiency.

In 2019, Joe worked as a QA Analyst at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, focusing on the Oscars project. Joe identified test requirements, executed test cases, and reported test results.

From 2018 to 2019, Joe held the position of QA Analyst II at Age of Learning, Inc./ ABCmouse.com. Joe ensured quality code releases, developed test cases, and compiled project reports.

Joe's career began in 2014 as a Treyarch onsite Quality Assurance Tester at Volt Workforce Solutions, where they worked on the Call of Duty Black Ops 3 project. Joe also had a role as an Activision onsite Quality Assurance Tester for the Call of Duty Advanced Warfare project. In both positions, they conducted bug writing, live testing, and verification.

Before entering the field of quality assurance, Joe worked as a Retail Stock Clerk at Old Navy in 2013. Joe also pursued a career as a Stand-up Comedian from 2005 to 2012.

Joe Garcia completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Digital Filmmaking from the Los Angeles Film School from 2019 to 2022. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate of Science degree in Game Production from the same institution, which they completed from 2012 to 2014. In addition to their degrees, Joe also received a certification in "Building Your Team" from LinkedIn in May 2021.
