Meaghan May

Meaghan May has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Meaghan most recently worked as an Application Engineer at GALACTIC starting in June 2023. Prior to that, Meaghan worked as a Quality Control Scientist II at Thermo Fisher Scientific from November 2020 to February 2023. Meaghan'sresponsibilities included preparing samples for NMR analysis, interpreting results, and identifying impurities. Meaghan also assisted other departments with NMR-related issues.

Before joining Thermo Fisher Scientific, Meaghan worked as a QC Chemist at Wisconsin Pharmacal Company from November 2018 to November 2020. In this role, they conducted analytical tests on samples of raw materials, finished products, and bulk blended products using HPLC, GC, and other analytical instruments. Meaghan also prepared mobile phase and ran samples for pH testing.

Meaghan's work experience also includes a role as an R&D Lab Technician at Gehl Foods, LLC from September 2017 to October 2018. Meaghan assembled raw materials panels for product development, provided support throughout the development process, and conducted sensory panels for various testing purposes.

Earlier in their career, Meaghan worked as a Membership Director at Healthcare Business Insights and as a Bartender at O'Marros Public House. Meaghan also gained customer service experience as a Barista at Starbucks and server at Applebee's. Additionally, they served as an Animal Care Intern at WILDLIFE IN NEED CENTER, where they assessed and cared for injured wildlife while educating the public on wildlife interactions.

Throughout their various roles, Meaghan has developed strong problem-solving skills, multitasking abilities, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Meaghan May completed their education with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology/Biological Sciences from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. Meaghan attended the university from 2013 to 2017. Following their undergraduate studies, Meaghan pursued a Master's degree in Public Health with a concentration in Epidemiology at Capella University. Meaghan enrolled at Capella in 2019 and successfully completed their degree in 2021.
