Andy Jones

Andy Jones has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Andy began their career in 1998 with the United States Air Force, where they held various roles including Cybersecurity Test Lead, Chief of Client Systems & IT Customer Support, and Chief of IT Systems & Network Operations. In 2019, they joined KBR, Inc. as an Information Systems Security Engineer, later becoming a Lead System Architect and finally an Information Systems Security Manager. In 2022, they moved to MITRE as a Lead Cyber Systems Engineer before joining Galapagos Federal Systems in 2023 as the Chief Engineer of the Cyber Range.

Andy Jones has a Master of Science (MS) degree in Cybersecurity from the University of Maryland Global Campus. They also hold a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer and Information Science from the same university. In addition, Andy has obtained certifications as a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), a Certified Expert RMF Professional, and a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
