Engr. Nasir A. Shinkafi

Engr. Nasir A. Shinkafi, Ph.D., PMP®, currently serves as the Group Head Technical Services at Galaxy Backbone Enterprise, overseeing technical services, information security management, and business continuity initiatives. Previously, Shinkafi held the position of Chief Technology Officer at Backbone Connectivity Network Nigeria Ltd, where responsibilities included strategic planning and network operations management. As Director of the Directorate of Information and Communication Technology at Umaru Musa Yar’adua University, Shinkafi provided ICT support to the university community and participated in key administrative decision-making. Shinkafi's extensive experience also includes roles at Ericsson in Nigeria and Saudi Arabia, MTN Nigeria, and NITEL, focusing on network operations, project management, and telecommunications engineering. Shinkafi holds a Master's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Bayero University, Kano.
