Prasad Chaskar

Prasad Chaskar is a highly skilled professional with extensive experience in data science and bioinformatics, currently serving as a Translational Medicine Senior Expert Data Science Lead at Galderma since February 2022. In this role, Prasad has led the analysis and reporting of multi-omics biomarker data for clinical studies in Atopic Dermatitis and Prurigo Nodularis, culminating in two regulatory submissions. Previously, as a Clinically Attached Bioinformatician at HUG - Hopitaux Universitaires de Genève, Prasad spearheaded data science collaborations that led to a tool for automating cancer patient assessments. With an educational background that includes a Ph.D. in Computational Biology from the University of Lausanne and degrees in Biotechnology and Computational Chemistry from Savitribai Phule Pune University, Prasad has contributed to significant advancements in the field, including publications on proteomic characterization and systematic data fusion algorithms for toxicology data.
