Anette Pedersen

Anette Pedersen has a diverse and extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Anette'smost recent position is as the VP Project Management at Galecto, Inc. where they have been working since 2021. Prior to that, they served as the Project Vice President at Zealand Pharma A/S from 2016 to 2019. From 2014 to 2016, they held the role of VP, Drug Development Counselling, Project and Portfolio Management at Klifo A/S. Anette also worked at Takeda Pharmaceuticals as the Vice President, Head of Strategic Project Management, Europe from 2012 to 2014. Before that, they had multiple roles at Nycomed, including Senior Director, Head of Project Management and Director, Head of Program Team and Alliance Manager. Anette also has experience at Novo Nordisk A/S and the Department of Human Nutrition at the University of Copenhagen. Overall, Anette Pedersen has a strong background in project management and pharmaceutical development.

Anette Pedersen pursued their education in a chronological manner. From 1986 to 1993, they attended the University of Southern Denmark, specifically the Syddansk Universitet, where they obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Experimental Biology. Afterward, they furthered their studies and enrolled at the University of Copenhagen, also known as Københavns Universitet, from 1995 to 1999. During this period, they successfully completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Human Nutrition.
