Pernille Aasholm

Pernille Aasholm has extensive experience in human resources and management roles. Starting in 2008, they worked at Islæt A/S as a Sales & PR Manager, responsible for sales strategies and international agents. Pernille later became the Managing Director of Islæt A/S, overseeing sales and PR strategies worldwide. From 2010 to 2013, they served as a Project Manager at Medicon Valley Alliance, managing activities and events to strengthen the life science cluster. Pernille then joined LEO Pharma A/S as a Management Assistant, assisting in HR activities and marketing projects.

In 2014, Pernille became the HR Manager at Serendex Pharmaceuticals A/S, where they developed the HR function from scratch and supported the management team in strategic and HR-related matters. Pernille then joined Savara Inc. in 2016 as a Global HR Manager, where they played a key role in consolidating three companies into one and implementing corporate and HR strategies.

From 2017 to 2019, Pernille worked as the Director of HR & Facility Services at DIGNITY, focusing on recruitment, onboarding, retention, and offboarding strategies. Pernille also coached the management group on strategic decisions and organizational transformations.

Pernille then took on the role of HR Director at CytoVac A/S in 2019, leading preparations for the organization's planned IPO, adjusting the organization, and optimizing processes.

In 2020, they worked as a Human Resources Business Consultant at Elevating People, providing consulting services in HR. Pernille also had two roles at LEO Pharma, first as a Strategic HR Business Partner and later as a Human Resources Project Manager. Currently, Pernille Aasholm serves as the Head of People at Galecto, Inc.

Pernille Aasholm's education history starts in 1990 when they attended Albertslund Amtsgymnasie for their high school education. From 1994 to 1995, they studied at Niels Brock and obtained an HHx degree in business. In 1998, they attended Esbjerg Academy and earned a degree as an Academy Economist specializing in Asia/Pacific with a focus on international marketing. Following that, from 2000 to 2008, they pursued a Graduate Diploma in Marketing (HD Afsætning) at Copenhagen Business School with a focus on economics. In 2015 to 2017, Pernille Aasholm enrolled at Probana Business School and completed a Master class HR program, specializing in HR Management/Personale Administration. Lastly, in 2018, they attended Think About It and became a Certified Enneagram Practitioner. Apart from their formal education, they obtained additional certifications such as HR Jura from CfL - Bedre ledere. Bedre resultater. in December 2018, and various Enneagram-related certifications from Think About It.
